siren sounds
a siren tangled in modern debris, this story is a visual symphony of seduction, sadness, and surrealism. inspired by the mythology of sirens and their fatal allure, the story explores the dissonance between beauty and entrapment. think, a divine creature washed ashore and caught in the net of reality—shimmering but struggling, powerful but pulled.
originally rooted in the idea of feminine mystique, the direction evolved into a commentary on the pollution in the oceans and the identity crisis that comes with surviving in a world that constantly entangles you. fishnet details and oversized embellishments symbolize both fantasy and suffocation—glamour wrapped in the plastics of expectation.
the mood is melancholic but magnetic. styling fuses hyper-femininity with dystopian undertones—metallic sheens, asymmetric layering, ethereal silhouettes disrupted by chaotic detail. hair is slicked yet unruly. makeup appears washed by waves, then reapplied by hand. it’s all intentional.
a visual whisper and a scream. she’s not here to be saved, she is the storm.
